TUMU Medical Institute/Hospital is located in Buhweju District. The Institute is registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports No 052, and has Examination Center Number (041) by the Uganda Nurse and Midwives Examination Board (UNMEB) after satisfactory fulfilling all the necessary requirements.

Currently, TUMU Medical Institute offer two and a half years certificate, Diplomas are 3 years
Admissions: We admit students in January and July every year.

- Certificate in Midwifery
- Diploma in Nursing (Direct)
- Diploma in Midwifery (Direct)
- Diploma in Nursing (Extension)
- Diploma in Midwifery (Extension)
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates to any our certificate courses MUST have the following
- At least an ordinary level certificate with at least credits in five science subjects of chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics and English.
- For Diploma course, the minimum qualifications are; Direct entry from A level: principles pass in Biology and Chemistry.
- Extension admission (Upgrading from certificate): a minimum of accredit certificate from the previous course,2 years of working experience from time of course completion.
- Certificate with principle passes in science subjects and also present verification receipt by ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda.
